Carbonation
During the carbonation, CO2 is added to the product before it comes to the filler. It consists of dissolving CO2 in the product, in same cases other gases can also be used. The quantity of CO2 depends on the type of drink we are going to make, which could content from 8 gr/liter like Soft Drinks or 4 gr/liter Mineral Water or 14 gr/liter for Sparkling Wines for example. Through a patented system CO2 is added within the mixed liquid in the carbonation tank. In the under pressure container, CO2 remains in dissolved state. In order to obtain a yield production of the filler, the drink must be fed to the filler in perfect conditions.
In some liquids carbonation can also be realized by a previous stage, or deaeration.
